I am delighted to inform you that Geoverbund ABC/J offers two autumn school places for students from the SAGES network. SAGES will fund two students to attend this course.

The Centre for High-Performance Scientific Computing in Terrestrial Systems (HPSC TerrSys) offers an autumn school from 23 – 27 September 2019 in Aachen, Germany. The course is aimed at Master and PhD students as well as PostDocs interested in Terrestrial Modelling and High-Performance Scientific Computing. This wonderful opportunity is open to all SAGES funded and SAGES associated-PhD students and early career postdoctoral SAGES members. To apply – simply write a 1-page statement including:

1. brief details about yourself and your career to date

3. how the Aachen HPC school will assist you in your current research project
4. what you might intend to develop in the future and finally,
5. your estimated costs
