Ahead of the United Nations World Day for Glaciers (21st of March), we’re pleased to be able to share the latest issue of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society magazine, The Geographer. The theme of the issue is the United Nations International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation (which was in 2025), and it features many fantastic articles from CryoExchange members!

The RSGS have kindly made the magazine available online earlier than usual so that we can share it ahead of the 21st of March - you can find it at this link, here, and the magazine cover is attached, too. Please feel free to share it with anyone that may find it of interest!
A huge thank you to all of the CryoExchange (and CryoExchange/SAGES adjacent) folk that contributed towards this issue through their wonderful articles, to our proof read earlier in the year, and by organising the CryoExchange contribution to the issue in the first place!
We hope you enjoy reading through the issue! Physical copies should be currently on their way to article authors (if they’re not already with you), and a downloadable copy of the magazine should appear on the RSGS website in June.
