Scottish Alliance for Geoscience, Environment and Society
Co-leader of the Sustainable Water Futures forum opportunity
We are now seeking a new co-leader for the Sustainable Water Futures - Collaboration for Confronting Complex Challenges SAGES forum.
The new co-leader will work together with myself to deliver the forum’s activities over the next year, including organising and facilitating research networking workshops. This is a rewarding role and a good opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across Scotland with an interest in water and sustainable development research.
ECR's are encouraged to consider this opportunity to work with colleagues outwith their home institution and those with more experience are also most welcome to apply. While we welcome applications from all, those who could bring a Physical Geography/Natural Science dimension to complement the Human Geography/Social Science background of the other co-lead are especially welcome.
If you are interested in taking up this opportunity, please email a short statement of interest (one page A4 maximum) to Carol.Thomson@glasgow.ac.uk by the 26th of August 2024 outlining your interest in the role, relevant experience, and what you think you may be able to contribute to the role.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the role in more detail before deciding, please feel free to contact me at irena.connon@stir.ac.uk
