– Development of methods to measure environmental phenomena.
– Acquisition and analysis of remotely sensed data, particularly using radar and optical sensors.
– The effects of climate change on our planet.
– The Dynamic elements of the earth system, including glaciers, ice sheets and volcano’s.

Active research projects:

The application of millimetre wave radar to the study of volcano-glacier interactions and ice-ocean interactions in conditions of reduced visibility.
