I am interested in human-vegetation interactions, especially in late Antiquity and Medieval times. I use available pollen data to make quantitative models of past changes in the vegetation. I am interested in multidisciplinary approaches to landscape reconstruction that include paleoecology, archaeology, paleogeography, economic and environmental history.
