Active research projects:

Can marine derived plastic litter be used in water remediation?
There is growing global awareness of the presence and negative impacts of waste plastic in the marine environment. The researchers will collect the plastic samples from Scottish beaches, and use the plastic as an adsorbent for removing emerging pollution from the water environment.
