SAGES is delighted to launch our International Exchange Scheme Scotland/Germany.
The 31st January 2020 was an incisive day for the UK as we left the EU.
Professor Mark Inall, SAGES Director: “Launching this scheme today underlines a commitment to grow our longstanding and highly valued international relationships between leading research groups in Scotland and Germany.”
Professor Harry Vereecken, Geoverbund’s Scientific Director: “We are delighted that our geoscience networks Geoverbund ABC/J (located in Germany) and SAGEs (located in Scotland) have found an uncomplicated way to continue to further strengthen their research co-opertation”
The International Exchange Scheme is designed to offer flexible funding for SAGES scientists to interact with Geoverbund scientists. On a competitive basis, the two parallel schemes will provide flexible financial support to initiate and enhance collaboration in all aspects of Geoscience and Earth systems science.
