SAGES ESM-AI Workshop Advertisement

 The SAGES Earth System Modelling & Artificial Intelligence (ESM-AI) will be holding their second workshop:

• Date: Thursday 29th May 2025
• Time: Approximately 12:00 to 16:00 BST (Times TBC)
• Location: Room G.02, 50 George Square, University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, EH8 9JU

This workshop will serve as an opportunity to present your ongoing research on topics relevant to this forum and also to network with members of this community. The general structure of the workshop will be as follows:

• Introduction: Updates on the ESM-AI forum
• Keynote: Prof. Matthew Williams (University of Edinburgh) will deliver a keynote talk on the role of digital solutions in policy.
• ESM Talks & Networking: Session on Earth System Modelling research + networking.
• AI Talks & Networking: Session on Artificial Intelligence research + networking.
• ESM & AI Talks & Networking: Session on the intersection between Earth System Modelling & Artificial Intelligence research + networking.
• Coffee Breaks: To refuel and network.

Please consider also submitting a short abstract (max 2-3 sentences) and present your research in the areas of ESM & AI. If you choose to submit an abstract during your registration at the link above; please do so by 20^th May.

We are able to reimburse some travel expenses for this workshop, but please note this will come a first come, first served basis.
